The FOXBORO FBM214B is a professional communication input module with 8 independently isolated analog input channels. These channels support analog sensor signal inputs from 4 to 20mA and are also capable of handling digital HART frequency shift keying (FSK) signals overlaid on analog input signals from 4 to 20mA.

Each analog input channel of the FBM214B has the following characteristics:


Independent isolation: Each channel is independently isolated, which can effectively avoid mutual interference between channels1.

4 to 20mA analog Sensor signals: Each channel can accept standard 4 to 20mA analog sensor signals.

Digital HART Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) signals: In addition to the standard analog signals, each channel can also handle the superposition of digital HART FSK signals.

External power supply: In addition to the internal power supply, each channel can also be powered by an external power supply. However, when the common external power supply is used for two or more channels, a balanced-unbalanced module is needed to prevent crosstalk in HART communication channels.
